Giving
KZCF is mobilizing a deep network of people to advance racial, social and economic justice in Kalamazoo County.
Youth Advisory Council (YAC)
The Kalamazoo Community Foundation’s Youth Advisory Council (YAC) gives high school students a chance to build leadership capacity, connect with youth from across the county, learn about issues of social, economic, and racial justice, and to participate in equity-informed grantmaking with our nonprofit partners.
Community Investment Committee
Our Community Investment Committee (CIC) brings a local voice and adds perspective to our grantmaking process. The committee meets four times a year. Two of the meetings are for gathering information to help inform future grantmaking. The other two are to review requests between $25,000 - $50,000 and recommend approvals to the trustees.
