In 2020, Kalamazoo Community Foundation launched Impact Investment Loans with the goal of offering low-interest financing for programs and projects that make a high impact in Kalamazoo County.

LGBTQ Equality Fund
The Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer and Questioning Equality Fund was created to advocate for LGBTQ rights, promote social justice, celebrate the contributions of the LGBTQ community and strengthen organizations that service the physical, health, social or emotional needs of the LGBTQ community.

The Kalamazoo Board of Commissioners and the Kalamazoo Community Foundation, recognizing the urgent need for a localized response to the opioid crisis, formed a strategic partnership to distribute resources from the opioid settlement funds to where they are needed most.
