Chief Strategy & Communications Officer, Strategy & Communications
Demetrias Wolverton is the chief strategy & communications Officer at the Kalamazoo Community Foundation. Demetrias leads our Strategy & Communications team in communicating with internal and external stakeholders about the Kalamazoo Community Foundation’s initiatives, practices and engagements. Prior to this role, Demetrias served as the interim chief of staff and the vice president of social justice and advocacy at YWCA Kalamazoo.
Demetrias holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration with a concentration in finance and communication and a master’s degree in science administration with a concentration in public administration. They are best known as a curator of social impact with a strong background in group process, project management, program quality, institutional equity, community-based initiatives and corporate event planning.
