Kalamazoo Community Foundation (KZCF) hired Robyn Bennett as Director of Human Resources and Dr. Kenlana Ferguson as Director of Equity, Learning & Culture.
Bennett comes to KZCF from Aludyne where she held the role of Human Resources Manager. She was also previously the Director of Human Resources & Racial Justice for Reach Riverside. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Johnson C. Smith University located in Charlotte, North Carolina and a Society for Human Resource Certification. Bennett is a member of the Society for Human Resources Management.
"I joined the KZCF team to continue on the journey to fulfill my career and to be impactful, inspiring and promote belonging," Bennett said.
Dr. Ferguson comes to KZCF from Kalamazoo College where she was the Counseling Center Director and Interim Managing Director at the Arcus Center for Social Justice Leadership. She is currently the Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Advisor to the College of Fine Arts Dean at Western Michigan University (WMU) and owns Ferguson Consulting, where she specializes in equity and inclusion consultation and training. Dr. Ferguson holds a Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from WMU.
Ferguson serves as the Board Vice President for the Fire Arts Collaborative, Board Member for the Helen Fox Gospel Music Center, Co-Creator of the Black & Brown Therapy Collective and is a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated, Iota Sigma Omega Chapter.
